Code settings allow you to create and modify codes that customize Manage Online to meet your specific business requirements.
The sections below can be set up at any time.
Sales Class CodesSales Class Codes are used to determine how sales and purchases are classified for accounting purposes. |
Account TypesCustomer Account Types allow you to choose what payment methods are acceptable for different types of customers and can be used to create reports for work carried out on specific customer categories. |
TechniciansAdd Technicians and set options for Time and Cost Tracking. |
Service WritersAdd and edit Service Writer names. |
Payment TermsPayments Terms are used to predefine payment term options for suppliers and customers. Setting these up initially will allow you to quickly select the specific terms for each transaction. |
Advisory NotesAdvisory Notes can be written ahead of time to quickly add to a customer's estimate or repair order instead of free-typing them each time. |
Work DescriptionWork Descriptions can be written ahead of time to quickly add to a customer's estimate or repair order instead of free-typing them each time. |
SymptomsSymptoms allow you to set up a list of common vehicle symptoms that can quickly be added to a customer's estimate or repair order. |
Customer TitleCustomer Title allows you to set up a list of selectable customer titles such as Dr., Miss, Mrs., etc. |
Return OptionsReturn Options allow you to set up possible reasons why parts would be returned and enable Core Tracking. |
Tax SetupSet up your tax rates for Parts, Labor, and other taxable and non-taxable items. |
Payment MethodsPayment Methods are used to set up accepted payment methods and set a default payment method. |
Product Group CodesProduct Group Codes allow you to set up specific product group categories for better inventory management and reporting. Based on the shops individual accounting practices, this can be as simple or as detailed as need be. |
Range CodesRange Codes allow you to set up separate range codes for better inventory management and accounting. This allows Manage Online to fit the needs of certain types of repair shops and may not be applicable to yours. |
Line CodesLine Codes allow you to set up trackable part number prefixes in order to better classify and differentiate parts. |
Stock Adjustment ReasonsStock Adjustment Reasons allow you to set your own custom reasons for stock adjustments. |
Media CodesMedia Codes allow you to track customer reach for Marketing efforts like running email, text messaging, print, broadcast campaigns, etc. |
StatusThe Status codes can be set up with a color and description so that, at a glance, you can easily see the status of a vehicle as it moves through your shop. |
Key TagKey Tag provides an option to select which key tag has been applied to the vehicle when it is on site. |
Hazard DisposalHazard Disposal codes allow you to apply and track charges for disposal of hazardous materials. The selected Hazmat fees will be clearly listed on the customer’s invoice. |
Work TypesWork Types can be set up with a color and description so that you can keep track of the type of work being performed for each work order. |
