Setting Backup Options
It is VERY important to backup your database regularly.
-
Setting up automatic backups is the easiest way to do this.
-
If your database information is ever lost or corrupted, you can use your backup database to recover the information.

-
From the Setup menu or shortcut bar, select Company Setup
-
On the Setup tab, click Backup.
-
In the Backup drop-list, select Daily
-
Select the days of the week the backup should take place.
-
Click Submit.
To set automatic MONTHLY backups
-
From the Setup menu or shortcut bar, select Company Setup
-
On the Setup tab, click Backup.
-
In the Backup drop-list, select Monthly
-
Enter the day of the month the backup should take place.
-
Click Submit.
To turn backups OFF
-
From the Setup menu or shortcut bar, select Company Setup
-
On the Setup tab, click Backup.
-
In the Backup drop-list, select Never.
-
Click Submit.
It is highly recommended that you also back up the database manually to an external location, such as a USB drive.
-
External drives protect your database information in the case of damage to or corruption on your shop's computer.
