Adding Customers

New customer records can be created while creating estimates, repair orders or counter sales.

 

To add a new customer:

  1. Click Main >> Customers.
  2. Click New.
    • Result: A New Customer window displays.

      Note: The Customer Name field pre-fills with information entered in the search field on the Customer List.

  3. Information tab: Enter the customer information.
  4. Service History tab: No information is available until orders are processed for the customer.
  5. Payment Record tab: No information is available until payments have been made by the customer.
  6. Comments tab: Enter comments about the customer.
  7. If desired, add their vehicle by clicking Add Vehicle.
  8. Click Submit.
