Job Status Codes Overview
Use Job Status to indicate the state of service or repair.

You must create Job Status Codes in order to have them available for use when creating Estimates and Repair Orders.

The Job Status Codes list displays all the Job Status Codes you have set up in your system, with a Code Title and a Description.
- Example: A technician who stops a repair to wait for a part may assign a PARTS (Holding on Parts) Job Status.
To access the Job Status Codes List:

From the Setup menu or shortcut bar, select Job Status Codes.
To search for a Job Status Code in the Job Status Codes List:

In the Search By drop-list, select Code or Description.

Type the initial number or letter to search for in the Search By text box.

Result: The list displays with the selected column sorted in ascending (first to last) order and the first matching entry highlighted.
