Since its debut in 2014, Tech-Assist has solved more than 115,000 cases, earning rave reviews for its dedicated team of ASE-Certified Master Technicians, quick response time, and unwavering commitment to resolving tough repair challenges – however many calls it takes.
Subscribers can use their smartphone and the free Rescue Lens app to connect in real time with an ALLDATA Master Tech. They can see the problem using interactive livestreaming video as the Tech-Assist consultant “draws” on the screen to help pinpoint the diagnostic issue or repair solution.
The Tech-Assist team is made up of seasoned diagnostic veterans, each with an average of 25+ years repair experience as shop owners, instructors, service writers, and techs. Every consultant has worked with multiple vehicle manufacturers and is an expert at customizing diagnostic plans that quickly get to the root of a problem.
ALLDATA has expanded the Tech-Assist team at our Elk Grove headquarters and added new hotline call centers in Georgia and Texas. We also expanded hours of operation, so shops from coast to coast can call Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with services available in English, Spanish, and French.
HOW IT WORKS
- Call the Tech-Assist hotline – you’ll get unlimited calls per vehicle case (typically three)
- Verify the repair – let the Tech-Assist team know that your issue was resolved
- Unlock additional cases – When you notify Tech-Assist that your vehicle case is “Verified,” a new case is added back to your monthly allotment
